By Judith Foreman, Alexandria, Virginia - found on Taste of Home

We make the most of tomatoes when they are in season and plentiful, and I love an old-fashioned homemade dressing with summery taste.

Yields1 Serving
 ¾ cup buttermilk
 ¼ cup minced fresh tarragon
 ¼ cup white wine vinegar
 3 tbsp canola oil
 1 ½ tsp sugar
 ½ tsp ground mustard
 ¼ tsp celery salt
 ¼ tsp pepper
 4 lbs cherry tomatoes, halved
  cup minced fresh chives
1

In a small bowl, whisk the first 8 ingredients until blended. Refrigerate, covered, until serving.

2

Just before serving, arrange tomatoes on a platter; drizzle with vinaigrette. Sprinkle with chives.
